Full English Breakfast £5.00

Pint of maggots £2.50

2 x Tins of corn 90p

Groundbait - £3.99

Club ticket £30/52 = 57p

Fuel - £5.00

Full day out fishing - about £18 and hitting the back of the net regularly.

Expensive to me that. I don't like fishing and can't stand just sitting and doing nowt so to be asked to pay 18 quid for the privelige? You can shove that. If it was 8 quid and more entertaining then I'd think about it, until then I'm not spending a penny on fishing. I'd rather go to Hillsborough for a few quid more. Looks decent value compared to a day's fishing now you mention it.

That bait is only for a session pleasure fishing a match day would be far more expensive and I bet you own 10 grands worth of tackle

If only there was a way to test this theory. Like recorded crowd attendances that show that against bigger teams we get bigger crowds and smaller teams smaller crowds…. Something like that would really put the argument to bed. If only it was available.

Attendance figures do put it to bed they prove that most supporters go no matter who we are  playing .

There should be no such thing as categories

Theres no justification for it whatsoever

None

It’s not a system designed to make sure fans are paying the least possible for tickets it’s the opposite

No reason whatsoever to have any categories at all. Ever.

Very true mate. I can understand the concept, say foe a club playing European football, but anything else is just overcomplicating things.

It would be interesting to track what the average price is over the season. That's a better way of deciding whether pricing is reasonable with all these ridiculous categories.

I think those prices are ok.
I’m going to the Stocksbridge game against the owls and they are charging £8.
Parkgate FC often charge between £4-6 for non league football so £20 a game for professional football is ok.
But as a season ticket holder, that’s still the cheapest option.

Agreed. It’s all the same in League One anyway. Playing Doncaster (cat A) is just as depressing as playing Morecambe (cat D).

Chansiri still owes me for 5 games season before last and the whole of last season,  season ticket worked out at £20 a game on the kop, in the championship and now £20 pay on the gate is for a category D game in league one ! Until I get my money back , not one penny going over the turnstile,  club is an effin joke !!

If you got your refund would you renew your season ticket ?

For clarity, the average price of a 20 pack of cigarettes in 2011 was £6.63. The cheapest around now are £9.25. A near on 40% increase in cost over 11 years. How many whinging about the ticket prices will happily buy their 20 a day though? The prices are fair.

For clarity if football tickets had gone up in line with inflation since the 80s we’d be paying a tenner a ticket - and that was to watch a much better team.

That first home game should have been a tenner a ticket as an apology to fans and an incentive to pack the ground.

4 categories is too much - people still won’t know how much it costs to watch us. Did the supporters on the Engagement Panel want this many categories or has Chansiri half-llistened to them?

Let’s hope most games are Category D. When Donny Rovers is a Cat A game you know what level we”ve plunged to.
