What he chooses to do with the cash unfortunately, we can’t control. The POTG fan is back in the game though with those prices. For clarity, the average price of a 20 pack of cigarettes in 2011 was £6.63. The cheapest around now are £9.25. A near on 40% increase in cost over 11 years. How many whinging about the ticket prices will happily buy their 20 a day though? The prices are fair. Steelman
That stupid c__t Chumpsiri doesn’t learn. We’re in the f’ing pub league. Never mind different category games. He should be doing everything he can to pack the ground out. Kop should be no more than £20 for all matches. £30 should be the absolute maximum for any other stand/match. #ChansiriOut

The only way to do that is to offer yer "cheaper" wares..Cheaper...Its not going to work otherwise..call it a loss leader WE have some pulling back to do..and we ain't gonna do it ON the pitch this season....We have to do it off the pitch I'm not sure we need to offer a better deal than our neighbours. I dont think anyone has ever chosen Wednesday due to ticket pricing..however the pricing must be fair and reasonable. Recent potg pricing has just ripped us off..this seems acceptable to me anyway

Step in the right direction but could have gone further IMO. It'll be £26. If you don't want to pay that much go on the Kop.

In fact when was the last time we averaged 30,000. The fact majority of our current fan base are season ticket holders and get well below the prices you mention. People will always find some excuse not to go. In my opinion the prices are very reasonable,
morganowl
i dont know why some are complaining . those prices are sound and its 2021 not 1995 . he has also reduced the bands thankfully too as well as very sensible prices. at least now he is listening . but we still need a team on the pitch and at the min im struggling to see us much above the bottom 6 without strikers at the club.

True, it is 2021 and not 1995 and we are in the third division because the fuuking moron who still runs the club is as administrative idiot, but hey we have cheaper ticket prices, all is well with the world! So you think a ticket for a game against Sunderland or Ipswich should be same prices as against Accrington or Fleetwood? Most clubs have category prices for games, even league 2, Port Vale have 2 categories and they're not far off our prices.

Its an interesting question and well posed, but I would have to say that in the third tier it should be a flat price as Sunderland and Ipswich are in the same division as Accrington. Its not like the PL where some teams have a host of international players and some teams have less, its the third division and their is only potential and unfulfilled potential. How much of a drop is that from last season? 32 quid on the South still seems an awful lot. Think, it was close to 40 on ylthe South for some games last year?
