Current Donation Goals

THE 2021/22 SEASON FUNDRAISER!! 

We have decided after putting it to the Owlstalk readers to sponsor a player at the club this season and we thought we could use the opportunity to also try and raise some money for some other great causes too by coming together as an online community and showing that once again we simply can't be beaten when it comes to driving positive action and doing amazing things as a fanbase.

So I'm launching a crowdfunded fundraiser to raise as much money as possible as quickly as possible for this one.

So we are looking to raise our initial target of £2500 which will not only allow us to sponsor a first team player but will also overshoot that and leave us with some money to raise for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme which is a really great cause and something that provides services, events and things like fitness programmes and kids training to Sheffield Wednesday fans all year round (something close to everyone's hearts who is reading this)

For those helping us through their donations we thought we would do the following

Two places seated with the sponsored player at the Annual Sheffield Wednesday Dinner having watched the team train at Hillsborough 
We will draw a name out of a hat at random from those who have donated to this fundraiser and that person who donated will be given these places at the SWFC dinner (which is a really fantastic event where you get to have a meal with the players and meet them all and spend the evening with them at a really fab positive event!) Ps - for those going to the dinner they'll also have a commemorative photograph taken with our sponsored player too to keep forever!

Two Match Tickets for a home game of your choice 
Another winner will be pulled out of the hat who will get two match tickets in a nice part of the ground to watch the Owls vs whoever they choose

A Signed Framed shirt with the signatures of the first team around the frame

I thought it would be a great idea to also raffle this one off as an additional fundraiser for the SWFC Community Programme to try and raise even more money for them
 

The initial target is £2500 - I want to hit that as quickly as humanly possible, and then go on to smash way past it so we can hand over a huge cheque to the incredible and hard working Sheffield Wednesday Community Team. Whenever we have done fundraisers in the past we've done incredibly well and always smashed targets easily so let's do it again!
