Players will come if we're willing to pay them. We weren't going to be in the market for top players anyway, we need to rebuild. If we get a bunch of hungry young players with something to prove they can dig us out of the sh*t and then progress. If we'd been dropped in to league 1 we'd be looking at reduced finances, tighter P&S and still needing to recruit a whole team. Plus likely lose the last of any quality we do have. Ive learned since Chansiri has taken over that money isn’t everything in football. The Premier League isn’t the be all and end all of supporting your club. They should be applying the punishment to this season and not next, there'll be plenty of pyssed off Charlton fans right now.
