The only players we’re going to attract are the type of players Bolton could attract when they were up poo creak.

They were all crap and didn’t save them.

Or the types we've been desperate to get off our books, the 'looking for a last payday' types.

I wonder what Charlton make of it.

12 points off in 2019/20 for us would have kept them up.

If covid hadn't extended the season, this deduction would have been handed down the week before the beginning of the 20/21 season. Ergo the points would have been deducted from next season anyway. Don't forget the hearing was brought forward by a week.

I don't think they have a case.

Hope so. It’s the only way we will stay up is if he goes and we get someone like Cook in.

People always say this nonsense about the latest trending manager

The trending managers then always always go on to have a horrific record at their next club

Take it on the chin.

Get on with it it.

Stop being a set of bloody spineless surrendering Snowflakes that have given up already.

Show some flipping northern fight.

Get behind whoever the team is next season and shove it up the EFLs jacket.

What's done is done.

In the past.

We're Sheffield Wednesday f**k the EFL

Bit poo though innit?

lol

Wonder what the Uberfans are thinking tonight?

STFU and stop causing division.

This is a time for solidarity.

Not a time to drive arguments and point scoring like an online Jeremy Vine show.

WAWAW??

Correct.

Bizarre all these people saying we’re going to recruit a bunch of heroes who are going to fight tooth and nail to keep us up. No more likely to recruit crap players and players looking for a payday.

We’re in big trouble. The next Bolton.

How many fans are going to be demanding a ST refund after this?

Complete crap that it gets applied to next season, damages the club in so many different ways.

If they are still playing behind closed doors or significant gate reduction they'll have to offer a refund option anyway.

I just said there's no judgement

Often the Uberfans are the ones who can calm things down and offer a voice of hope and some opinion from the opposite of anger and #chansiriout etc

Not judging - just curious

The ones who have told us Chansiri is a hero, not a problem, that we'd get away with it etc etc

I'd be interested in hearing their views tonight to try and get some comfort from them because from where I"m standing we're in a bit of a pickle

they will be blaming the EFL

Has Fisayo got time to change his mind like all the other players we were talking to who won’t sign now?

What a total fizz up.

Legal challenge to follow by Wigan and Barnsley too.

Going to be a great pre-season.

Won't he have a 14 day cancellation period????

Next season has to be us against the world.  Get behind whatever team walk out on day 1.

Players will come if we're willing to pay them.  We weren't going to be in the market for top players anyway, we need to rebuild.  If we get a bunch of hungry young players with something to prove they can dig us out of the sh*t and then progress.

If we'd been dropped in to league 1 we'd be looking at reduced finances, tighter P&S and still needing to recruit a whole team.  Plus likely lose the last of any quality we do have.

This is far from ideal but certainly not the death knell.

This, absolutely. Players will want assurances on relegation release fees and safety bonuses, but were still a championship team and/or a shop window to some. This has to galvanise us fans though. Our chairman's dangerous, the efl are gunning for us and fans of other clubs will want us to fail (if we go down next season itll be Barnsley's best season for years!). Hopefully this siege mentality gets the fans together and up for the fight! Get some atmosphere back at hillsborough and back the players who are here, because those who arent up for the fight will no doubt move on.
