Looks like the -12 is for breaching the 39m 3 year rolling limit by more than 15m. Bad news for P&S going forward

But they don’t mention the sale of the ground, so that must be included in 18/19 accounts then

No player worth their salt will join a club on -12.

Plenty of hungry lower league players out there who will do anything to prove themselves at a higher level.

Question is have we got an eye for this sort of talent? We'll see...

"The Club was charged in November 2019 and referred to an independent Disciplinary Commission, which conducted a full hearing at the end of June 2020, before finding the Club guilty based on the fact that the Club should not have included profits from the sale of Hillsborough Stadium in the Club’s financial statements for the period ending July 2018.

The Club was found not guilty of a further charge of breaching its duty of utmost good faith to the EFL by deliberately concealing information from the League in respect of filings made in respect of the Profitability and Sustainability Rules."

Sounds like we got done for moving the money in to previous year and not the sale of the stadium. That suggests Derby will get away Scot-free.

Just now, Jack the Hat said:

We can still get to the play offs next season with a 12 point deduction. This league is rubbish. Too many snowflakes on here.

Starting off with negative points can not only affect the team's ambition, but will also impact recruitment. We all know there's a psychological element when it comes to football

For me it has completely knackered Monks recruitment up. Monk wanted to get the average down but can we rely on young inexperienced players ?

We now need a manager that can get a team to fight, please go and talk to Paul cook because with Monk we will down by Christmas

I thought same. Easier to recruit when you have something to play for. Not knowing you are going to be in a relegation battle from day 1 with the spineless we have.

I am not so sure. Given the financial meltdown headed across the globe, out of contract players cannot afford to be choosy.

Disappointing result, but could have been worse.

out of interest, how many seasons since our promotion back to the Championship (other than this one), have we finished within 12 points of bottom 3)?

What about transfer umbomgo?

We need to have a very good recruitment drive now. I'm talking hungry players from smaller clubs, those that are going to get stuck in and play for the club as a team.

No more big transfer, high wages wasters.

Mix of talented youth and experience.
