Their player was stood on the line and jumped over the ball to let it in - offside correctly

Deflected off him before going to their player who scored. Also looked like an offside player on the goal line who jumped over the ball while impeding the GK. elyowl1
who would have thought it , stop faffing around at the back and getting crosses in would make us look a far far better team.
Vanderowlsterdam
Really frustrating half to watch for a few reasons. Corbeanu, so lively and exciting with end product, why hasn't he been involved? When we play quick and with intent, we look dangerous and the team show glimpses of what we expect. But just like we have every game, when we start looking good we take the foot off the gas and invite the opposition back into the game. Could be such a different game if Sunderland got the goal they probably deserved. As we've seen already this season, 2-0 is not game over so we need to put this game out of reach. 2
theowlsman
Playing a bit better. Well done Wednesday. The difference tonight is that we're working harder when we don't have the ball, closing down etc. and we're passing the ball a bit quicker.

Cmon mate we're winning 2-0 against arguably the biggest club in the league. Try and enjoy it, what's the point in being a fan if you can't even enjoy when it's going well? 3

He sounds like a decent bloke to be fair.
soldierowl
Appear to have changed tactics. No pratting about at the back. Sunderland playing it out and getting caught, not us for a change.

They’ve gone in all fired up after a great first half and they’ve got to listen to one of Daza’s inspirational talks. Mind you for once, ‘we go again’ is actually relevant. OriginalAlien
Dunkley's post match interview at the weekend suggested there was a bit of a blow up in the dressing room at the end of the game. It could have cleared the air and sorted things out a bit. It might have been the players standing up to DM and making him listen.
