beswetherick Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 Having to miss today due to illness which is annoying, especially as the weather’s so good… Hopefully we go with a positive, attacking line up who will play higher up the pitch than we did against Plymouth and take the game to the opposites instead of struggling to play out of defence. Even at the cup game a few years ago when we were leading with a few minutes left I knew the jinx would strike again. Sure enough, they equalised, then deep into injury time the ref bottled giving us a blatant penalty when Nuhiu was fouled and they broke to score the winner. Just don't think we have it at the moment. I'm hoping for a clean sheet. Would like a 2-1 win if we actually come from a position of losing to winning. One or the other please. I had to live near Shrewsbury for a while…the highlight was drinking lots of freebies in Tanners Saturday morning…in second place was being rescued by AA when car park at bottom of Mardol flooded ( Mardol…wtf … ), it’s that sort of place. Yes, 100%. We should be dictating the game with the players we have, not arrogance but just better quality. If Moore can't get a tune out of the players in this league his tenure will be short.
