Windass to West Brom?

I agree this is typically Wednesday, but it’s also typically Big Sam. He’ll buy in Windass for 400k with an eye for flogging him for 2M the following season. Can’t imagine our ‘switched on’ business tycoon owner will consider a sell on clause - but that’s what we’re stuck with at present.

UP THE OWLS!!!

Sign him for 500k, sell him 5 months later for 400k.

Peak Wednesday

lol

DC made a handsome profit selling Lucas Joao, so let’s hope if he does sanction sale of Windass he has his negotiating head on and gets £3 million plus for him

I'd sell any of our players at the right price. Finding someone to buy them is the problem because a lot are on big wages.

£400k isn't the right price for Windass. £2M - £3M is the right price if it let's us bring in a CF to lead the line. If it doesn't then keep him. Basically if we sell Windass now without replacing him we will go down, it's as simple as that. How do you put a price on that.

So let’s do something unusual for a change and apply a bit of logic shall we?

People suggesting we need to do this deal to pay the wages.

We all know the level of losses we have been posting, but even at the P&S permitted level of loss the chairman needs to fund £1m + every month and at the moment it’s likely to be significantly higher what with there being little or no income in terms of cash.

So do we really think the chairman would sell a player purely to cover 1 to 2 weeks worth of money?
