I'm not surprised in this one

Player wages not getting paid properly
Manager wants out but can't leave due to his contract

Looks like no other players coming in apart from a crocked 'Hutch'
Being played out of position up front on his own

Pulisball means you get one chance a game but have to be seen to be running about all the game anyway

etc etc etc

Reckon izzy Brown will clear off as fast as he can too

Be fasted thing he's done all season if he does.

Seriously, though...

What do we reckon Windass is worth?

If it were just another Championship club coming in for him, I'd expect around a million plus add-ons, but given that Premier League clubs are awash with cash, I'd expect them to pay a premium to take our main attacking threat off our hands during the January transfer window.

£400k doesn't seem enough, surely?

If the report is anywhere near accurate, then it points to serious issues at our club.

1 million seems about right.

The problem is, we are not exactly in the best shape financially speaking to negotiate getting a profit on the deal.

So you don’t think this has anything to do with our cash flow issues?

Possibly or maybe not...did he ask for a transfer?

Or did sam lardarse put a bid in?

Did he say here's 400k take it or leave it.

Did he say here's 400k and you can have (insert name here)

Why is there three clubs interested all of a sudden?

Has he said, foook this I'm off, still not paid according to football league website.

As Patrick Moore would say...

We Just don't Know..

can't imagine for a moment that this would be something within Pulis' plan for January if we'd only be receiving 400k for Windass. Forwards are your most costly position to buy for as it is.

Have to agree,  wether Pulis would move windass on or not I think it’s absolutely laughable to suggest he would think a 400k fee is an acceptable deal for the club

Ok let's put it in a way you might get

What position do you think Windass will play under Pulis after January?

He'll play in the same position as he's doing so now.

But we haven't even signed anyone yet and we don't even know whether we'll be able to or what kind of quality they'll have.

Given we are struggling to pay our players wages - IF we did get this deal through on staged payments - its feasible we are needing to sell him because we can't afford to pay Wigan the next instalment

Cant imagine the administrator at Wigan would have accepted payment by instalments when they were desperate for cash. Unless we were the only offer

Imagine being the buying club knowing that you're negotiating with a club that's not been able to pay their players or refund their fans though

Kinda puts you in the driving seat in the negotiations

Guaranteed to pick up a reyt bargain

You'd think so, but then Wigan out manoeuvred us when they were in administration and relegated.

We are a shambles in the market.
