It seems like the rest of the Liverpool youngsters are getting games, but he hasn't, that includes ones who are 16/17.... makes you wonder why I guess you don't ever really know - Liverpool have the insurance of a buy back and percentage sell on, so maybe they see it as not too much of a risk, and if he develops they just get him back. Could turn out to be a really good signing, could turn out to be like the rest they have thrown huge amounts at. See how it plays out.
The only way is S6
Pity they’ve got this done. They create good chances but now they have somebody who might actually put them in. This disappoints me.
TodwickOwl
What’s everyone wetting themselves about? Its an expensive loan - if he scores 20 goals he’ll be going back before Blades even blink. Personally think it’s a massive gamble - not played at that level and could get swallowed up. That’s 40m on McBurnie and Brewster - are they gonna get the goals? Can’t see it. They are much more defensive focused team than they were previously, looking to grind teams down and keep it tight at the back. Matt_1
Outrageous business by Liverpool. 3 year buyback as well as a 15% sell on clause. Could be the player they need though. Shame, they might score some goals now.

alanharper
Signing a young English prospect from Liverpool for £20m+ is of course a guarantee of quality and success. So thought Bournemouth last year when they bought Solanke, he bagged 3 goals in 32 league appearances and they got relegated. And he'd actually had some previous PL experience. Jim
His job is to score the goals that’ll keep them up. If they stay up it’s £23.5m well spent.
latemodelchild
Big gamble. He'll be on decent money too. He'll rock up in a nice car which will turn a few heads and wind people up if he doesn't earn his money by scoring. He's the first player they've signed that's come with some pressure already on him. Hopefully he's the signing they look back on with a huge amount of regret. Poor return goal wise and a bad attitude that rocks the boat and puts the humble heroes noses out of joint. Please, for once let me be reight about summat

Staggered Billy Blunt got so many that season. Mind you, Leon Clarke did insane numbers one season for them. Still, all the more hilarious for how horrendously out of their depth they are at this level. And 6 goals for McBurnie makes them cream themselves, much like a two goal massacre. Weird standards at the sty. Edited October 2, 2020 by Owl Rly

Binky Griptite
I'm very relaxed about this. Let's get one thing straight, he's only cost that much because of his parent club, if he belonged to Burnley, went on loan to the Championship and scored a few he'd be worth £10m tops. The facts are he's never played at the top level and now he's got to "carry" a struggling attacking line. He might turn out to be a cracking signing but he's done absolutely nothing yet in his career to set him aside from a long string of potent championship strikers who can't cut it in the Prem. £23.5m isn't buying them guaranteed goals, it's buying them a player who constitutes a massive gamble at that level. runningaround
Sounds like a win win for the bin dippers. If he is the player Klopp thinks he is it’s basically a loan of sorts. If it isn’t pigs still don’t have a reliable source of goals.
