BadBoy1762 Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Just throwing this out there....maybe DM likes Dawson but is still unsure on whether hes no1 material, maybe this is the plan .......try and get David Stockdale in as experienced number 1, loan Dawson back out to Exeter (now in Lg1) - with dont play against us in contract, see what we does in this league have wildsmith as no2. Assume Stockdale would be moving to the number one. Wildsmith would be on lower wages than Dawson and we should be able to get a modest transfer fee for Dawson too. Plus there's not really been much difference in Dawson and Wildsmith's performances for us. I do think Dawson has a higher ceiling than Wildsmith, but I'm not sure he's going to reach it here.
