Just seen the full segment on Talksport is now on.

Alan Biggs used the fact that he's apparently got a good reputation with the 50 previous managers in Sheffield to mean he's going to give a balanced and impartial view on his mate Chris Wilder's departure. Hilarious!

Disingenuous hounds. Love it. Old Biggsy comes across as a spurned lover. Quality interview that.

Biggs is so disingenuous.

Wilder hasn't said anything?

He spent 6 months complaining about the club in press conferences which are plastered across all media.

He's acted with dignity?

He tried to resign twice and get paid off!

He's not criticised the owner?

He's been slating the club so, in turn, is criticising the owner.

Honestly, does anyone believe the absolute guff the man speaks?

We all know what's going on: he's Biggsy's mate and he's going into bat for him. Ffs the guy has a pic of him and Wilder pretty hugging as his Twitter profile banner. He compared Wilder getting sacked to someone dying.

Loved the bit about the fact Wilder had never been sacked. What an absolute spineless t1t of a man. Embarrassing.

That last bit was priceless. So cringeworthy it was unbelievable. Never had a good opinion of him but it’s in the gutter after that. sycophant.

and that doesn't even include their other big money signings Mousse, Berge, Robinson. He's easy had £100m+

That might not be that much in the reality of the PL, but there is no excuse when they are all dross

Definitely and didn't they sign Luke Freeman and Callum Robinson for around £5m a piece and then loaned them out to Forest and WBA less than a year later?

Proper weird that interview with Biggs. Sounds like wilders agent at times. He's obviously mates with wilder and says he's known him for 30 years or so, but it's like he's been employed to get his point across without wilder having to do it. Don't think I've seen such loyalty from a journalist before.

If Wilder carked it tomorrow, it would be with a smile on his face.

He “massacred” us 4-2 at our place on the weekend of his 50th birthday.  I’d bet anyone that he would say that is the pinnacle of his career.

That is his and their problem.

This sums it up for me.

The only reason he is revered there is because of that one result.

That's the reason they want a statue and all that guff.

The hatred of 'Wendys' over the success of their own club is ingrained into the fabric of their identity.

If that result had not happened, I'm sure their fans would've been asking questions a lot sooner and the media love-in would be a lot cooler.

As you say, it's their problem.

And fitting that despite the high probability of us being relegated and a basket case at the moment, the shadow of big brother Wednesday has contributed to their downfall.

Well if wilder is subject to an NDA how else is he going to try to salvage his reputation after the prince apparently told the full story?

It will be the guy from the star who wrote the book about him being wheeled out next, followed by some of his also unemployed manager mates.....and then the other 14 from the famous trip to Wrexham

Honestly, it was like his official PR person.

Just watched the Sky Sports interview with the owner. Putting his side across. Always two sides........etc. Link - Here

What's pretty clear to me is Wilder's ego was well out of control. In the lower leagues he was the man.......different kettle of fish when you hit the big time.

It seems to be bubbling nicely under the surface between the two factions of United and Wilder. After the Prince put out his statement yesterday, it seems Wilder carried out his own PR with useful idiots such as his "BBC mates" who also used the useful idiot Wilder to push a new book. Wilders "mates" are trying to paint the Prince in a bad light but the natives are now starting to see through the spin of Wilder and his "mates" and are smelling the coffee. Maybe its financially beneficial for Wilder to keep his gob shut and maybe reign in his "mates" tweets or that NDA he signed might be questioned in the courts.

So the club offered Wilder quite a few players, Soucek being one.

He refused them, and went for his all British, more expensive signings.

Not surprised the board had enough.

That United didn't use the foreign market was one of the reasons I always cited to Blades mates for their problems.

A club of their size has no chance unless it goes foreign.

But if this is true, and Tufty was offered foreign players and refused them, then he's dead and buried no matter what Piggsy says.

Definitely. Was challenging Wilder's deification to a couple of blunts, and one of them quickly reverted to 'he gave us Bouncing Day, he deserves a statue for that alone. We thought there was a fire drill'.

Said it's few months ago. In the last couple of seasons maybe more he was the man. Never off the tele or radio he was on Talksport every other day always being asked his opinion and for his wisdom. This season he's never on either other than his post match whinges and it wasn't me rants.
