My point was that It was probably self development rather than development by us. IE the penny dropped when Boro let him go and he realised that he could cut it at our level Credit to him

Still remember him talking about Brunt looking great for 10 minutes that he spends on the ball and dissapearing when off it, how he will kick that out of him and turn him into better player.

You csnt say oh that club develops players, but the players at that club he just worked hard so wanted it. Sham67
Some interesting and thought provoking debates going on in this thread . Sadly, not many transfer rumours . Owlstalk at its finest.
camffiti
I don't think anyone really knows, just how deep in the barrel, we will need to scrape in this window Scott Carson? Luke Garbutt? Every Prem academy prospect is being touted, bar George Hirst

Was the Norwich plan to yo-yo between the two leagues and make money by selling players and winning promotion again? A risky strategy isn’t it? What were they going to do with that money earned because last season when they had the opportunity to invest that money the didn’t and as a result got relegated. So IF they manage to get promotion again next season will they then invest the money into the squad to ensure they don’t get relegated and if they did why didn’t they just do that in the first place and not get relegated first time? Whichever way you slice it, Norwich messed it up and let down their fans. If we were ever lucky enough to be in that position I would hate for us to waste the opportunity like they did. First part of the season they got some good results. If they do get promoted again then they will be in a better position to invest. Weather or not Farke is the man to attract the better players is a different matter.
