Might be all agreed, new manager might be putting together a wishlist and all be announced when he's back?

What are the chances? :tango:

This would be my thinking also...... but we live in an age where you think If it had been agreed, some sod would have leaked it already.

It does make me chuckle that people think football clubs do everything old school face to face round a board room table. You can’t be in a different country, county or city to talk to someone.

Businesses around the globe conduct interviews via conference every single day. Why would Sheffield Wednesday be any different?

You’re a bit daft if you think he’s put his out office on and decided to just bog off for a couple of weeks. He’s chucked upwards of 100 million at this club, I’m fairly certain he’ll be conducting business whilst he’s in the USA.

Think he was tapped up nearly a month ago..maybe even earlier.

By not appointing a manager already doesn't mean we are not trying. Especially when the good ones say no thanks..

Unless you would prefer DC said oh foook it, set one on from the list..first un to turn up gets it.

I don’t think we aren’t trying to appoint a manager, but after 2 weeks since Steve Bruce told us he wants to leave. I don’t think it’s unfair to think by this point we should be a lot further along in the process.

How far along are we?

I think by now we should have decided upon who we want to appoint. We knew Steve Bruce wanted to leave 2 weeks ago today, from that moment we should have been sorting out a replacement and by this point should be close to an appointment.

No problem he’s on holiday, but no matter where he is in the world, the process should have moved a lot faster than it is doing.

Maybe we are?

Hear what you're saying and we're all frustrated but bottom line is no-one except DC knows how far we are along in the process.

Rowetts odds drifting further this morning. Now 1/2

It will not be Rowett. Get ready for the next manager that will be down to short odds before drifting out again. I think Chansiri is just trying to get the right man and is taking his time. After all the Bruce saga i think he is not letting anything slip. Maybe he'll pull off a big coup. I think if Hughton will not come then he might sit tight with Bullen and wait.

This is tiresome now.

It's sapped the excitement out of what would have been a good pre-season. Strudwick, Nice kits, positivite training camps, Rhodes scoring goals.

This whole manager situation and the lack of info from the club regarding the embargo has drained my enthusiasm levels.

Do you think that clubs should always have a list of 5 managers that they review on a 6 monthly basis in case something happens.

Like succession planning and such like that businesses put in place.
