Think chansiri shows with Hirst he would rather lose money than face. Think the conversation with Bruce will have been you know the terms of your contract, tell them to send a back and you can talk to who you want. But if you walk we will see you in court and you won’t be working for a whilr

Bruce and Ashley have found their match in DC. I can see Bruce resigning and Ashley looking elsewhere.

What we don’t know is if DC and Bruce has some kind of gentlemen’s agreement re Premier League/Newcastle. Its doubtful, but possible.

We should hold firm and say no he can’t go. Then get Bruce to sign a new contract, wait until Newcastle appoint a different manager . Then in the same minute Newcastle do that, sack Judas Bruce and condemn this footballing gigolo to the scrap heap.

Never hire grunt managers. Lesson learned.

Bruce will end up just resigning.

I said Tuesday it’ll come down to this. He only leaves if he forces his way out. Just like he did at Palace.

It it was always going to be the case that Chansiri would name his price and Ashley would try to negotiate the non-negotiable.

Didn't Alex Bruce join the NUFC twitter group the other day, hope he's told his dad how hostile it's going to be.. DC should ask for £10 million compo then Ashley would go elsewhere.

Bruce resigns and his reputation will be trash and DC will pursue him through the courts.

Steve Bruce signed a contract in good faith, you can't just change the terms when you fancy another job.

Totally agree, but principles are very expensive, and at some point we will need to move forward.

We don’t even know what’s gone on yet so why would there be no coming back from it?

All we have is loads of fans on a forum fretting and shouting about Bruce doing things we don’t even know he’s done yet.

It is quite possible there was more than Bruce in the so called short list , would not put it past MA for playing the betting odds.

Exactly

All good when manager is doing crap and laughing because he’s tied into a contract the employer has to pay out

Shoe on other foot and they wanna leave and contracts don’t mean a thing

To me is makes the amount of compo irrelevant to a degree

If we lose Bruce we're left shuffling around the usual list of out of work losers

So depressing

The real problem is greed, nothing more.

The managers are now as bad as the players, it's all about money, not pride in the club, purely money. Pogba, Neymar et al are good examples. Over paid prima donnas.

Murdoch started all this with his TV empire.

Speaking of which, could he do a job for us?

If he was going to resign he would have done so already

There will be a clause in the contract that will stop him working for a set period of time after resigning

If SB was close to going to Newcastle then he wouldn’t have been to training this morning
