Don't get all this if he doesn't go we'll be against him. At the moment its all media talk. Typical hes going because it's his boyhood club crap. At best they're taking a 50/50 punt.  When asked he's said nothing and maybe right to. For what it's worth I reckon if he was going to go it would have happened by now.

If the fat Judas stays I hope he gets dogs abuse at first game of the season.

I guess trying to get someone on cheap is how he got rich in first place. #swfc wanting £2 million. #nufc wanting to pay £1 million. SB has agreed terms. He’ll be a begrudging stayer now should clubs not agree compensation. Ashley wants him by Saturday. Suspect he’ll get his man from twitter

I’ll go with Nixon £5million upwards , he’s probably the best out there for reliable info

I’m hoping the negotiations are going like this:

MA: How much compo we talking for Bruce then?

DC: You can have Jordan Rhodes for £10m, then we can discuss Bruce.

I reckon DC has challenged Ashley to a winner takes all bowling match on Monday night when it’s cheaper at Hollywood Bowl

Anyone else just fed up of this? All this going round in circles is doing my head in. The media circus; Sky, the PL, parachute failure payments, mercenary managers, insane transfer fees, Twitter, etc It's all simply eroding my love, enthusiasm and interest in football. The modern (game) business is making me feel sick of football altogether and the game I loved as a kid seems long gone.

Know what you mean mate. Once upon a time it was a simple game about football- now it's like a FTSE 100 business. Meant to be a form of escapism.

Been trying to work out how many managers have managed their boyhood hometown clubs and been a success. Wilder excepted.

Depends what you class as being a success.

Howard Wilkinson had 4 good years at Wednesday. Bobby Robson did well at Newcastle without winning anything. Terry Venables won promotions and cups with Palace, QPR and Spurs (no idea who he supported as a boy).

So if he decides to stay and not go to Newcastle your hoping that his own fans boo him?

Grow up.

The only reason he would be here is if compensation isnt agreed.

He doesnt want to be here and is a money grabbing judas.

He doesnt deserve the support of our loyal fans.

When Newcastle tried to get McClaren out of Derby? Could be wrong.

That’s why I initially couldn’t see Bruce leaving without a fight over the compo between DC & Ashley. Seems I was right!

The Steve McClaren who became Newcastle boss after leaving Derby having basically run Derby into the ground for four months in the run up to his departure?

Sure, that went great didn't it, especially for Derby.

Let's say if he doesn't join his hometown club and remains with us what do you think he's going to do, he'll dust himself down and carry on just like he did at Hull.

If you honestly think the answer would be to boo him at every opportunity whilst he's still with us then you need your head checking.
