My first child is due tomorrow, amazing timing to think my football club might not exist in the same month my child arrives.  Looks like they won’t be made to be a wednesdayite from birth. Maybe they are the lucky one! 😄

Congratulations. Enjoy the day - it will be a joyous occasion.

The players approaching efl is like them stabbing themselves in foot for next season as they'll get points deducted. No players concern for club just care about lining pockets.

Wake up!

Media have got it in for us.  If they supported the club like they should be, they'd be reporting that it's the players that owe Wednesday £12m.

Ever since Chansiri got an extra 80p from the BBC (boom, putting the BBC in its place), the media have ganged up on us.

If we owe £12m in wages and the vast majority will be higher level tax (50%) dies than mean potentially we owe HMRC £12m in taxes and pension payments.

Now that could force admin.

Being a dad is the best thing in the world, well done mate. There are no guide books, or rather rule books, just get by on beginners luck and natural talent. Best wished for Mrs. Southie_Owl tomorrow too 🙂

If all this is true we’re trading insolvently, which means Administration

End of

Do you remember when I proposed a wager to you recently about where we would finish? I was basing my opinion on what I thought was coming, regarding the potential of sanctions and further points deductions and, our overall financial and trading position.

I hope you are right about challenging for the top two, but has all the recent news changed your opinion on that at all?

Where do players sit in terms of been paid out in Administration ?

They get priority payments from the asset sales.

We have no assets so they’ll be buggered.

Not really

The bonuses will be a massive part of this

Plus it’s three months not two for starters

Ok do the sums...

Assuming annual wage budget (including bonus) of max £25m for full year.

Nearly all of that is taxed at 40%

So annual payments to players is therefore no more than £15m for full year.

So how's is possible to owe players £12m for 3months even with bonus included.
