BREAKING - DARREN MOORE APPOINTED AS NEW MANAGER

Recommended Posts

Darren Moore is a decent option and I'm not against it.

But as someone on Radio Sheffield Football Heaven quite rightly said, how with our financial issues have we gone from only offering a very short term contract to Paul Cook to spending a significant sum to pay off Donny to get Darren Moore?

This club is truly bizarre isn't isn't it

I couldn't give a monkeys if he's Sky Blue Pink with yellow dots wearing a Tu - Tu as long as he keeps us in this division this season and beyond ....

THIS

Any incumbent should be in the job due to ability

Not the colour of their skin...

Cook had no chance after Chansiri moaned about him speaking out in the press or whatever it was. Bridge was burned down if it ever existed.

Nothing really makes sense.

I suspect they've finally been forced into action after another poor defeat.

They were hoping the honeymoon period for Thommo could see us right.

So, a very exciting day!

An actual credible manager, who suits our short term need and long term needs who isn’t a standard ‘Merry go round’ appointment who seems like a genuinely decent bloke.
He also seems glad to be here.
I thought it wouldn’t happen and we were either going to hang Thompson out to dry or just given it a senior player to have a go!

Im surprised and delighted!

Of course he might not make it work but I feel at least it’s the right move (for once).
Chansiri really really didn’t want Paul Cook though! Must have disliked him at interview I guess! Anyway, I’m backing the Big Man whatever happens this season. We have to keep someone in position and try to rebuild!

Fingers crossed for Wednesday night!

Honestly you can’t second guess this chairman. He’s a complete maverick.

Cook was my first choice, disappointed we haven’t got him in. However Moore is a lot better than what I expected, I really thought we would have got an obscure foreign manager in, perhaps we would have done if it wasn’t for Covid making it a different world. Excited to see what Moore brings, just hope he gets longer than this season no matter what happens abs he plays attacking football.

Hopefully Moore will prove far better than Cook would ever have been.
