TodwickOwl Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 Looking at our form we’ve got absolutely no chance of staying up under Monk. His PPG average is 1.3 - thats 49 points to the end of the season. 45 points, not enough to stay up. If he suddenly turned into Bruce overnight and replicated his form - 1.6 PPG, that’s 60 points. 56 points. What we finished on in 16th last year. His current form from February is 0.48 points per game - this is currently what we need to base his performance and the likelihood of us moving forward with. That’s another 18 points all season with 38 games to go. Finishing on 14 points. And if you want to base it on his current team and staff - it’s 0.6 PPG. That’s 25 points - finishing on 21 points. owlsruleok Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 Year in year out we as SWFC fans have to put up with mediocrity except for the odd rare season (play off final). BUT this season all we see week in week out is, no skill, no method, no plan, no tactics, no ideas, no good football and NO HEART. We have to put up with square passing which has brought goals against us and the big hoof down the pitch ie long ball tactics like the old “Wimbledon” style, geez that should not be the Sheffield Wednesday way. We have complained this last couple of years ago about injuries, well there seems to be just as many now than ever there was + players signed who are forever injured and never plays. So what in heavens name is happening, it’s your club, you are the owner and we are the supporters, please act quickly because being loyal in football usually does not work. Now Monk has his so called back room staff we are playing worse than ever. Something has to give at Hillsborough Mr Chansiri and if it’s not your patience with the management it will ultimately be the SWFC’s fans and supporters, so be aware be very aware - remember fans are not allowed to the games at the present and on ‘OUR’ form they may well and truly keep away all together because they are getting used to it - so please get something done ASAP otherwise the club will carry on this downward spiral and be another “Bury”. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DC needs to get some footballing people in to help him and to get in a proper proven experienced manager before it's too late. Relegation will be a disaster. This can't go on.
