Huddersfield have exactly the same problems we do.

Cowley’s aren’t the reason for the state they’re in. Same as monk isn’t at fault for our predicament.

I’ve no idea what’s going on at Huddersfield, so maybe the Cowleys have ostracised good players, told ten out of contract players at Christmas they were done there, resigned one of the most ineffective players in the league, when the entire fan base said get shut, played crap negative football that saw the John smith stadium ( or whatever it’s called now) empty at half time for several home games in a row. In that case you are right.

You can talk about a new job with a prospective employer and you only get offered the job if everything is agreeable.

Mooy was their best player by some distance. Any club would struggle with losing that.

I like the cut of Cowleys jib. Something about them. It’s about matching a club with a manager. We had it with Laws. I think they would have been brilliant here.

Mooy was their choice to loan out mind. He is a class act no doubt.

Quite frankly ridiculous that they were even mentioned for the Wednesday job and some of our fans were clamouring for them.

As brothers and a pair, they’ve done very well for themselves but they were nowhere near experienced enough or had the necessary pedigree to take over at Wednesday.

Did Wilder have “the necessary pedigree” to take over at the sty?

They did a cracking job at Lincoln and haven’t had time to turn round the disaster that is Udders.

O’Neil is having the same problem at Stoke with their squad that cost gazillions.

I would have taken them, or Rowett.

Look at how Rowett faired at Stoke. Probably same issues he faced that Monk is facing at Wednesday.

This job isn’t easy and Cowley’s don’t have the necessary experience of dealing with high profile players at a big club. No way, should we have looked at them.

Get behind the current manager. Give him the chance for the rebuild this summer and get rid of the high earners and the disruptive influences. I think he deserves that and also his own backroom team.

When I heard that they refer to their substitutes as “ game changers “ I knew that we had dodged a psycho babble bullet.

If they’re not prepared to hurt their players feelings by calling them substitutes then they’re hardly going to throw a tofu sandwich at a workshy centre half who pulled out of a challenge.

It’s a lot less complicated than that.

They've just got a load of cowards and ŵánkers that are mercenary and unprofessional to the core, and don’t give a töśs about that club.

Sound familiar.

Familiar, but they are so much worse, they make our players look as committed as Matt le tissier (17 years, one club)

That's what they are...if you're behind you want someone on who is going to get you level or win you the game. If you're in front and under pressure you want someone to come on, steady the ship and see the game out as per Nuhiu did yesterday. I'm sure players are far happier sat on the bench knowing that they can influence the match. I think you'll find the team sheet still says substitutes...psycho babble? Clutching at straws methinks

Sat on bench waiting to come on because your not a first choice option (substitute). Moving up a gear and turning around the game in your favour like scoring a goal (gamer changer)

These "good players" ostracized themselves

Huddersfield are just in a mess really, it's not really any reflection on the Cowley brothers to be honest. They've got a losing culture which can take a long while to shift. The squad probably should be slightly higher but as we know ourselves, talent needs to be matched with application.

I take it from the quotes you don’t think Westwood hutch and ff are good players?

wheres that come from that they ostracised themselves? You are the first person I’ve seen state that. It certainly not what the players themselves have said.

Big time charlies coasting on by.  We're better off without those anchors weighing the squad down.

And yet some of our fans still bat an eyelash at ol Westy.  Doggo distribution and a penchant to chew out backline for his mistakes... Who can forget, such great memories.

They have had plenty of time to improve things. They haven't taken the step up well and are struggling. The higher the league the harder it gets. Glad we didnt fall for the hype here and take a punt on them.
