I thought he'd been subbed until we made our 3 subs, then thought he'd got injured in the warm up and not started. Not taking the pi$$, genuinely thought this. I agree, he wasn't a stand out bad player, he was just a bog standard, hide in the background bad player. While we were passionately defending for ninety minutes I don't think he managed above half a dozen touches all game.
