Gonna say, he played a full season in the Brazilian prem at age 17. Which is a crazy achievement. It's not like he's come into the Champ as this unproven unexpectedly good talent. I mean you can't measure Charles Hagan against someone like that. Our youngsters going on loan to places like Morecambe and stuff in the last couple of seasons. I also still expect Monk to be hoping that the likes of Hunt, Shaw, Grant etc. emerge as genuine first team prospects that may make his job easier going forward? You might be right, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve had a change of plan. After bidding £1m for Leko, I rather hoped we’d be looking for a similar wide attacker, who could also play off the shoulder of a target man.
