  1. I am not particularly in the "Moore Out" camp as yet as I’m not sure that continually changing manager helps our cause. However, some of the decisions he makes, both in starting line ups and substitutions are baffling and will eventually lead to his downfall. Bringing Berahino on, a front two striker and then playing him out wide when you have Corbeanu sat on the bench is one such example. Living in the West Midlands, I have several friends that are Wolves season ticket holders and they are amazed that Corbeanu is not getting a regular place in our starting line up. He was seriously considered for a place in the Wolves 25 man squad for the premiership this season. Corbeanu has himself been quoted in the West Midlands press as being ‘disappointed’ with his time at Hillsborough to date and I can see him being recalled to Wolves come the new year.
  2. Sunderland are interested in signing Dajaku from six-time European champions Bayern. Dajaku is currently with Union Berlin on a temporary basis, but has made just two Bundesliga appearances for the capital club. While £1.62m-valued Dajaku has not yet made the transition to the elite, his record at youth level suggests that he has plenty of talent and ability. In 60 games for VfB Stuttgart’s development sides, he scored 41 goals, showing that he can be prolific. Also, Bayern clearly saw enough in him to give him three appearances for their first team.

  5. Sheffield Wednesday youngster Charles Hagan is attracting interest ahead of the transfer deadline tomorrow, as per a report by the Sheffield Star. Sheffield Wednesday have a decision to make as to whether they want to loan him out out or not. He is attracting interest from League Two trio Scunthorpe United, Harrogate Town and Sutton United. National League side Aldershot Town are also believed to be keen.
  6. Middlesbrough midfielder Sam Morsy has emerged as a surprise late transfer target for Ipswich Town.
  7. Seems strange that he didn’t come back here if we are still looking for someone?
  8. Former Sheffield Wednesday forward Connor Wickham has been taken on trial by Preston North End as he seeks to get his injury-hit career back on track. The 28-year-old is training with the Championship club, having been released by Crystal Palace this summer.
  9. Nathan Broadhead has signed for League One club Sunderland on loan for the 2021/22 season. The 23-year-old forward, who joined Everton's Academy aged 10, signed a new two-year deal with the Blues in June after his impressive form in front of goal for the Under-23s last term, netting 11 goals in 18 Premier League 2 matches.
  10. Ipswich Town are set to sign Cameron Burgess from Accrington Stanley, reports Alan Nixon. Burgess, a centre half aged 25, looks set to leave Accrington Stanley and join League One rivals Ipswich Town in a deal worth £750,000, reports Nixon in this morning’s Sun on Sunday.
  11. Wigan Athletic are ‘looking’ into a deal for Luke Hall following his release from Sheffield Wednesday, reports Alan Nixon. Nixon reports in The Sun on Sunday that Wigan Athletic are looking at Hall, 18, following his release from Sheffield Wednesday.
  12. Wycombe Wanderers are hoping to strike a deal with Birmingham City’s Sam Cosgrove this summer, reports The Sun on Sunday. Cosgrove, 24, looks set to leave Birmingham City this summer.
  13. Great signing for Ipswich if it happens…… Young Aston Villa hot shot Louie Barry is expected to join League One side Ipswich Town on a season-long loan deal. The 18-year-old has been with Dean Smith's first-team squad since pre-season started last month with Barry impressing at Bodymoor Heath and, this week, at Villa's London training camp. The Sutton Coldfield striker joined Villa from Barcelona 18 months ago while, last season, Barry scored 20 goals in his 26 games, including that memorable goal to equalise for Villa in the FA Cup against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in January. Barry also scored five and assisted four to help Villa clinch FA Youth Cup success in what was a standout season for the England under-18 ace.
  14. Although he only made 8 appearances for us (on loan) Steve Howard was a archetype centre forward…
  15. Pompey have completed the signing of 25-year-old defender Connor Ogilvie. He has put pen to paper on a two-year-deal – with the club option of a further 12 months – after leaving Gillingham at the end of last season.
  16. Leicester City striker George Hirst was spotted at Portsmouth training earlier today and it is understood that if Danny Cowley does opt to sign him, it would be on loan.
  17. Sheffield Wednesday are hopeful of a mini-Boro reunion at Hillsborough as they look to sign Marvin Johnson, just days after the loan capture of Lewis Wing. But the Owls face Championship competition for the former Boro winger, who is also said to be interesting Hull, Blackpool and Millwall. Johnson is a free agent after leaving Boro at the end of last season, and, according to Yorkshire Live, has been identified by Darren Moore as a target as the Wednesday boss plots an immediate return to the Championship.
