jonesy87shef
Jack Wilshere looks likely to have his contract terminated my mutual consent at West Ham. Wonder if he ends up in the championship, abroad or retires.

Whilst no doubt he has been paid handsomely has he made the most of his footballing ability? He'll retire to focus on the kids academy he runs. 100k a week plus whatever West Ham are paying him to terminate his contract - he's not gonna be looking down the back of the sofa for 50p Edited September 11, 2020 by Gob_Bluth

I remember seeing him play as a 16 year old for Arsenal and thinking he could go on to be one of the best players this country has ever produced. Sadly his legs are made out of biscuits so it hasn’t quite worked out that way

But it would be good to get this done soon so he’s got time to train with the team before Watford.

The cost per minute of football played by Wilshere and Danny Welbeck is pretty high

We in this country dont half big up our players as soon as they burst on the scene, and pretty much have them in the is/or going to be world class category straight away. Reality is he was never even better than Mikel Arteta who didnt even receive a Spanish cap.

No but anybody could see Jack Wiltshire was the best midfield prospect we’d had since Gaza’s.

Feel for them but if they can fill one of the relegation spots I will be eternally grateful to them, just need to find two others to fall on theirs swords now.
