Lord Snooty
Anyone seen replay? Looked a shocking tackle and my first thought was it should have been red.
andytrig
Definitely should have been a red. Absolutely horrendous challenge.

TodwickOwl
Absolute f*cking joke Ref asked the 4th official who was right in front and didn’t give it Two games on trot where refs have given us nowt - what a surprise when we’re stirring it up with the EFL.....

ohgoditsjames
Has to be a straight red, had no intention on winning the ball,
vulva
That was such an easy decision for the ref. Absolutely beyond me how that isn’t a red card.

Mr. Tom
Made even worse by the fact he’d just given Harris a yellow for being pushed into a defender the very idea that those offences were of the same severity/risk is absolutely ludicrous
Pastor Kidneys
Shocking tackle worthy of a red ... Palmer got sent off for flying in like that a few games ago. Clear red card
alanharper
I actually expected Robinson to give Palmer a yellow for diving.

jrh
Unbelievable decision. Any definition of a red card and it fits - reckless, dangerous, violent conduct. Absolutely horrendous tackle. That referee deserves to never referee again after that performance. Genuinely had my blood boiling.
Taximark
Ref bottled it. It was Red all day long and he knew it after when Palmer went off.

Yep, you could tell Cardiff feared a red as half their team tried to get in the ref's ear about it. Goodness knows what the 4th official told him but he should stick to putting the board up for substitutions as he hasn't got a clue what a red card tackle looks like. toooldforthis
I've refereed for years and what I see week in week out at this level completely baffles me...it was out of control and endangered the player...what other consideration was there? If it was Hutch...straight red. Their players surrounded the ref during his thought process...we just stand there all lame and timid...why isn't Lees in the ref's face screaming for a red?
Nero
Why would a late, knee high studs up assault that ends up with Palmer carried off the pitch be a red card? He didn't knife him you snowflakes.
McRightSide
Definite red. Reckless and endangering an opponent Now idea how it can’t be a red.
Rev Owl
Just in front of us. I turned away as I was expecting to see blood and bone. Straight red all day long Ref listened to their manager, first on the scene, and produced a yellow.
