  1. Are the club that tight they can't chip in to get him over the line? When he was on the pitch at HT I was expecting the club to make some sort of announcement about doing that
  2. Sunderland were pathetic tonight, and Bannan is in much better condition than he was when we played them in the playoffs (he was still injured/not fit lets be honest), he'd have torn them apart tonight
  3. It would if it didn't mean 90% of our team didn't end up injured, which you know would happen
  4. I have a significantly stronger connection with Wednesday than I do with England, we’re in this together, both the hard times and good, I love our club and our club culture, would always prioritise Wednesday. As another poster said above, England are just another London club, it’s difficult to relate to them on the same level.
  5. I’m going to go against the grain here with everyone choosing players from the 90’s. 1. Ellis Rimmer, 418 appearances, 140 goals as a winger, 2 league titles, 1 FA cup, 1 charity shield, scored 2 goals in our last FA cup final victory, scored in all rounds of the FA cup, only 12 players have ever managed that in the history of the FA cup. 2. Andrew Wilson, 545 appearances, 216 goals, Wednesdays all time top scorer and the player the most appearances. Won the league twice and the FA cup once. Oldest player to play for us until Trevor Francis. 3. Tommy Crawshaw, Sheffield born lad, 418 league appearances, 25 goals as a centre half, captained Wednesday, won 2 league titles and 2 FA cups. Fred Spiksley and others from that area deserve a mention.
  7. That explains why we never get penalties anymore
  8. I’m in my 20’s, I’m convinced I’ll never see us back in the top flight, we had our 2 chances and blew it for 2 different reasons. The first was down to being out muscled, the second was down to overly negative tactics and having no bottle.
  9. Hardly surprising, they’re a big club that have been stuck down here for 4 years
  10. Villa have done what city did against Real Madrid
  11. Please be Brentford getting the last minute winner
  12. I know people hate Liverpool but do people really want city to win again? It’s unbelievably boring seeing the same team win over and over again, it’s like the Man United days
  13. Even if other clubs follow suit, they'll still only take a bus full to away matches
  14. This is exactly how we should have been playing away at Sunderland!
  15. Highest away average across all EFL leagues
  16. Hughton after how he performed at Forest?
  17. By that logic we should stop singing 'We are the Owls' and 'The Wednesday Sing' songs
