JOS SAYS WE'RE LIVING IN THE PAST

Recommended Posts

Best try the failing manager’s full portfolio of excuses Jos, and it’s no use DC and the rest of his little gang of backside creepers making lame excuses for the club’s current position. To quote the title of a classic Moody Blues hit, Go Now, that’s Jos immediately and DC and his little gang, as soon as financially possible.

Hooper? Lee? Loovens?

Hopper and Lee are still in the squad aren’t they?

Loovens was a welcome exit for many

Do these 3 players take you from top 6 and playing attractive football, to bottom half playing non attacking boring drivel

This.

Sickening culture at our club from top to bottom at the moment, for not accepting accountability for failure.

In the meantime, the toads demand we keep coughing up more to pay their wages.

Some of them even have the temerity to post on here, backing their own failures.

Unbelievable.

We are the perfect example of how not to run a football club.

I hate people talking the club down, particularly no marks like Jos, who probably never even heard of us till Doyen came knocking.

When BFR came back in the late 90s to keep us in the PL, we beat Arsenal and he held a press conferences and was wax-lyricaling about us being similar to Newcastle in fan-base and potential, and we were going to push on a compete at the top. Newcastle were top at the time and his refreshing enthusiasm, whilst slightly over exaggerated, gelled the fans and kept them behind the club and team, following some horrendous performances and results under Pleat.

Jos has no personality and his comments reflect this, and only serve to further depress the fans who watch week after week his pathetic attempts at delivering results.

Loovens time was certainly up and he just didn't have the legs anymore but man are we missing his organisational skills, Lees looks a shadow of his former self without Loovens next to him.

Well why not show him what's it like living in the past

Football crap ,crowds like in the dark years  in 70s

7,440 turned up against Oxford

Keep turning crap out ,then crowds will be same as the past

Yes, all of two years ago. Playoffs, buccaneering football. The players who were great under CC are shadows now, and it isn't injuries or age. They don't want to play for a man whose arse is glued to a bench and has had so much botox his face is incapable of expression. He has 'loser' written right across his forehead. Still it's nice that we are providing a twilight home for those managers unable to manage, well past their sell date and who just need a warm bench to sit on.

Problem the club has is that fans were told to swallow the high prices (not just for tickets for everything), the stripes going etc. with the promise of promotion or at the very least a promotion challenging side.

Remember on here when discussing prices, people putting across the opinion that if you want a winning team you have to accept these prices.

Fans going to be demanding no matter how much a ticket cost but at amongst the highest prices in the league you have moved fans impatience up a notch or two.

No they're not,  they haven't been available to Jos at any point in his time here.

There's plenty of sticks available to beat him with, but let's at least be fair about it.

You are over simplifying.

Jos is useless, the sooner he goes the better.

But don’t kid yourself, our squad is a disaster.

Whether Jos leaves or not is totally immaterial. A quick look at the league table shows where our troubles lie, and have for the past six seasons at least. We are alongside Stoke City, who are in 10th place, and we have scored as many goals as us. We have a young keeper who, despite the criticism, is performing excellently. Unfortunately, he is keeping out one of the Wednesday favourites, and so mus carry the blame! Nevertheless, week after week, we score, then sit back and relax, and lo! we're suddenly behind. Most of the goals seem to have been coming from the centre of the defence, which usually is wide open. We have conceded more goals than any other Championship club, yet we complain that Hooper and Lee are not playing - both attacking players.

Gentlemen, face facts, our defence is, and has been for a number of years, CRAP. We blame this on rotation, but this is simply a means of fitting the proper round pegs in the round holes. How we do this I don't know, but then I'm not Manager at SWFC thank the Lord.
