Maybe, but any players Derby are targeting will most likely not be hanging around. I'm not even sure ATM whether they can extend contracts of players on their books when they become OOC. If MA does come in with a cheap deal to save them they may well start the season with a 15pt penalty which is not going to help in attracting players. So my hope was that Hunt and Luongo stay (not fussed about others) and then we would need to sign about 11 new players…. Keeper, 4 center half’s. 2 wing backs. Central midfielder. Wilks was on holiday with Windass’s younger brother last month. Contracts run till June 30th so officially they become ours on July 1st unless they are already free agents. However, it would be nice to see they've actually put pen to paper thinking back to January when Sunderland gazumped us for Baath. I imagine he's after a big deal (three years) on bumper wages. After the season he had it may be his last chance. Can Rotherham compete with what he's been offered?
