Suzuki_San
I can't pick it tonight. I need two votes please Snoots: One for Dunkley and one for Corbeanu. Make it happen. Many thanks.

asteener1867
Only came on second half, but well worth MOM.....Luongu for me
theowlsman
I’ve gone for Bannan tonight. Kept the pressure on the opposition all night and his pass to Corbeanu, who passed to Windass, was sublime.
Popular Post Dylan93
Fans will say Dunkley for his defensive display or Corbeanu for his constant threat. But Luongo changed the game. Won first and second balls, pressed and battled. Allowed Bannan to get further up pitch, we moved the ball quicker for attacks. We need to keep him fit if we’re to go up UTO 24
Lincs Owl
I voted Dunks but Luongo Corbeanu and Bannan were also excellent. Only Byers disappointed me. He never seemed to be involved. Moore is going from hero to villain and back to hero again. Matchwinning substitutions.
Willie Henderson
At last, dragons slayed, ghosts put to rest. We came from chuffing behind for god's sake. It's starting to happen. Come on Wednesday! 4

Groundhopping Owl
Dunkley was titanic, particularly at offensive set pieces, but I’d dock a mark for the penalty that probably should have been given against him. Corbeanu subdued early on but grew into it very well. Honourable mention for Hunt who looked consistently threatening while playing far higher up than we’re used to (trying to match Corbeanu?). I’d be tempted to say Luongo, much as I don’t like nominating subs at MotM, he changed the game when he came on. Did more in 35 minutes than Byers did in 55, and I didn’t even think Byers did particularly badly.
Popular Post CircleSeven
Dunkley was MoM to be honest but I voted Luongo because I genuinely believe he was the reason we won. You could see it in every inch oh his body he was on that pitch to win. Please everyone join me in nightly prayers for his health and well-being 8
Shetland Owl
the whole team played well, best performance for ages
Groundhopping Owl
Thought Bannan dictated it very well too. Brennan had the one iffy moment in the first half but otherwise looked nice and composed, I’d be keen to see him continue in the starting XI. Gregory looked off it until he scored, as did Windass - football eh?
TrickyTrev
Dunkley, a rock at the back tonight and in recent weeks he’s become our most important player.
Ronio
Dunkley again for me. Absolute colossus today.
Ash77
Bpf 6 Hunt 6 would try shodipo rwb Brennan 6 not really tested, good on ball Dunkley 8 unlucky with corners, goal should have stood, won everything Palmer 6 badly lost his man at a corner leading to an easy missed chance but solid otherwise Theo 8* lots on target, always a threat, nothing quite came off for 90mins but looked fitter in later stages, so kept going for a composed and deserved match winning assist after a great move. Db 6 another ok showing but not looking like scoring or assisting Byers 6 same as db Bannan 8 ran midfield, better corners, key involvement for winner releasing theo Gregory 6 bar controlling it and passing it back never troubled them for first 83min, shocking miss from berahino's perfect cross then popped up from nothing with a great header Kamberi 5 like gregory lacked mobility and rarely troubled them, wasnt sure who should have come off between him and gregory but good shout in end, either way need windass starting now. Windass 8 greater mobility caused them more problems, assist, goal, need him starting now Luongo 7 if he was on pitch their goalscorer probably has less space inbetween lines than that, had the missing quality to help bannan fully dominate midfield. Berahino 5 nice boots, to be fair put it on a plate for gregory Plenty of crosses, dominated most of game, looked like wasn't going to happen but kept going and 2 good crosses led to 2 goals in end. Finally have come from behind. Best and most entertaining performance of season, game changing having luongo and windass back, theo being fit enough to influence a full game and dunkley stepping up in iorfas absence. Credit to DM for going for it with subs. Edited November 23, 2021 by Ash77 2 1
the mighty wednesday
Dunkley as he was incredible and really set the tone for our performance. Everyone played well. Corbeanu was always dangerous. Luongo got one of his tackles in immediately and almost sent someone through on goal with a first time pass after winning it. Windass was dangerous and should have had a penalty after Hunt hit the post. Hunt had his best game for us this season and Bashiru was unlucky to be subbed. Bannan also had his best game for a while. Easily our best performance of the season. Our only problem is scoring when we are on top which has been a frequent occurrence this season and last and probably for a few seasons.
owlprince
I’ve gone for Bannan, controlled the midfield got stuck in defensively with tackles and interceptions. Different level to everyone on the pitch tonight. honourable mentions to Dunkley - dominated in the air caused real problems from the set pieces and was a rock at the back when they came forward. Luongo- what an upgrade him and Byers look on wing hopefully can stay fit Gregory- good link up play hard work and got a goal. Ticking over consistently massively valuable player for us. -Hunt - got up and down and caused them a few problems
Alb1owl
Definitely Dunkley. But we wouldn’t have won without Luongo or Windass. But definitely Dunkley. What a critical player he’s become over the last month.
