Ray Von shabba
As per title. Just had a call from a mate who is a ST holder in the wooden stand where the directors box is. Got an email this morning saying due to structural failures the stand is now closed. Offered a seat in a different stand or pro rata compensation.
Beighton Owl 87
There was an article on BBC sport about it yesterday. Over 1000 season ticket holders in that stand that are having to move.
Plonk
How does a stand go from being ok last week to a structural danger this week? Surely it’s a gradual process they must have been aware of?
Mosborough-owl
Thats quite sad tbh, I love oakwell as a ground. And that old rusty wooden stand always reminds me of them. that and 7 fingers on each hand.
wiggy
Used to be class when we got the end behind the goal and half that stand when we went there.

I'll be honest, I thought I felt a tear streak down the old cheek at one point.
