Celtic were 13 points clear of an out of form Rangers, who had 9 games to play. Celtic needed 14 points from their last 8 games even if Rangers won all their 9. Celtic had taken 13 from their last 5. Shaw has been sensible and got an offer on the table from Celtic. Its up to DC to match or better. Celtic may no longer be prepared to take a risk on a youngster. Bad luck for Shaw really.
