swfcGibbo
Surely a lower Prem team would want him? Unless they don't want to loan him out to a Premiership side.
Dutch McLovin
Not a chance he'll come but look at the midfield options if he does: Reach Hutchinson Hourihane Bannan Green Luongo Shaw Harris
glynnb
Just what we need more competition in midfield. Anyway he wouldn't come here when we were a good draw and even had a hat to throw in the ring. Other more pressing priorities first.

gurujuan
That’s the thing, if money is a major issue, we need to focus all our resources on the attack. Sure I would like him here, but we have other priorities
SiJ
If we were where we seemed to be back in 2015/2016 or 2016/2017, then I imagine we'd have as good a chance as anyone of getting in someone of his quality. Now, we have about as much appeal as the teams from the early 00s. We are far more likely to go down than go up, we have clear financial issues and the squad is lacking in real quality. A player like Hourihane will have clubs lining up to take him, some possibly in the Prem.

WC1Owl
Can't see him wanting to come here at the moment - he'll surely have better offers from promotion chasing teams.

Bakewell Owl
we need to pull-out all the stops for this to happen, at this level he is a class act, hopefully Dean Smith still has time for us and will smooth the way come on Wednesday
sherlyegg
Would think all championship clubs are a bit nervous of splashin the cash right now.. Except clubs with parachute payments of course... About time this league was handicapped.. Parachute payment = start on -12 pts.
Adem Poric
Pigs, West Brom, Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham, Palace would all be better for having him in their midfield. No chance he's coming to the shite end of division two to play on our pitch with no one to pass to.
