Is that really the case though? As in, do the accounts show it?

Just found this (Premier League Prize Money 19/20) which shows last season alone they received £130m

Given they'll have done 2 seasons in the PL, and 20th received about £90m last season and then relegated teams get another £100m in parachute payments - so what's that...£330m? That leaves them pretty healthy despite them spending £120m~ on players and the McCabe money (which surely cannot amount to that much?)

Agent fee's wages, running costs, no revenue.

It all adds up.

Also not many of these big fee signings will be sought after players, minus Berge.

So they're stuck with expensive flops who will be on a hefty wage no other club would be willing to match.

The only other sellable assets are you better players (Egan, JOC etc) who you don't really want to have to sell.

The mortgage for the ground, players wages, paying off McCabe, no income,

And paying back the loans taken against future income

i think a large proportion of that money will have already gone

Will this weekend’s fixture against the mighty Pirates produce one of these responses:

Lose. It’s cup, doesn’t really matter.

Win. This will kick start their season.

🏴‍☠️

Kick start?

It's bloody January and they haven't looked like winning yet.

My biggest regret is coming up with the ‘Nightmare on Jihadi John St’ last season and not this season.

Giddings saying Wilder could be here for 5 years or could be gone in 24 hours, also saying  Chris has issues at United?

Issues?

Oh, you mean they're crap and ruining his record and image although it's absolutely not his fault in anyway, shape or form!

#MBGA

Sounds all too familiar!

Something deffo gone down with Wilder.

Would ******** myself if they sacked him.

Saw some of his latest interview on the news earlier, like a cat on a hot tin roof answering questions about issues between him and the club on strategic direction/ his role within setting and executing that.

He might end up getting his own way again, but presume the Prince is pushing back a little bit more now Wilder’s managed to turn the first team into the Dog and Duck.
