You mean except for the running in behind that Rhodes did. Can shove a lot of things in Rhodes direction but not having great movement in and around the box should never be one of them. He played up top on his own that first half, CW was lucky not to be subbed at HT.

More damning is our lack of creativity and ability to put a decent ball into the box. Three decent balls in and we scored from one and hit the post with one of the others. Two from Da Cruz as well.

Um er, I did say sharp movement. Rhodes should have scored when Bannan put him through but he was slow onto it enabling the keeper to smother

We didnt look too bad, and I dont mind 3 at the back, but I think a better team than forest will catch us out playing two wingers at wing back. I wouldnt be against trying a 3-4-3, with reach and odubajo playing wing back and allowing Murphy and Harris to use their energy at the top end of the pitch, getting at the opposite's full backs.

This!!

If we are using Bannan, I’d expect more than him occasionally playing a nice diagonal to the winger.... yesterday crossing was clearly not working for us so expected us to play occasionally through middle but despite that almost working for Rhodes we seemed to persist with going down the flanks.

Yes, agree that we concentrated too much on the flanks, but the movement from the front two was too slow. To be fair, Rhodes was timing his runs better than at anytime since he’s been here, but because he’s lost a yard of pace, he wasn’t much of a danger He was never really quick in his heyday, but made good use of that little bit of extra pace, allied to the good timing of his runs, and clinical finishing

Personally I don’t think he can recapture that at this level, but there was definitely an improvement on the pre lockdown performances, from Rhodes, and the team in general

There were lots.

Shocking bad luck - Wickham’s super header against the post followed by that amazing goal-line block followed by the sucker punch breakaway.

I agree with Monk - we were excellent apart from the final delivery and finish. But of course that is vital.

To be fair to Rhodes he made a few runs to the front post, taking a defender with him. This created space at the back post. He also manages to get in between defenders before making his slow run.

The intelligence is there but the his pace is lacking. The one he missed was unfortunate but I cannot see another player on our books who would make that run.

Wickham and Rhodes are who we have, let's hope they have enough to keep us up.

We didn’t lose despite being dog poo

Monk out ASAP please

Knows what a successful dressing room looks like my ar5e

First game back after 3 months and the form we were in before? Really? Forest are in the play offs and imo we were better and looked more dangerous than them
