Odds For The New Manager

Sky Bet list gets more interesting, Mikel Arteta has entered betting. Think it would mean we may get a couple of select loan signings if nothing else.

Giovanni Van Bronckhurst  name has also appeared. He did well in Dutch league.

I get feeling DC will want to pull something good off that will make some people take notice. For example recruiting s manager who rejected Newcastle.

I hope he does. At least we have a decent bit of money to help us get a good quality manager.

Wasn't Arteta one of those who turned down Newcastle? I'd be very surprised if he came here.

Vieira and Arteta were the most interesting names that turned down Newcastle

Van Bronckhorst would be very ambitious but I could see DC going for someone of that calibre to lift the spirits of the club again. Aided with that compensation, he might be able to pull something like that off.

Didn’t say that. But you all know where my money as been placed.  UTO

If I remember rightly, didn't you say that "a local club would be very disappointed ?" Kind of intimating that we would be going after a local manager ?  ( No ! Not that bloke who manages The Dog'n'Duck team lol  OOOPS !!!!! FFS,  bye bye brucie pmsl ) :Sid:

What's Coleman, the ex Wales and Fulham boss doing these days ?

If the rumours that AVB was his first choice last time around, then this isn't outside the realms of possibility.

Does Zola even want to manage again, thought he was more of an assistant

Only a hunch but i seriously think Nigel Pearson might be in for this

You can hope, he is a steady pair of hands that gets teams promoted, he knows the club and takes no poo.
