So if someone alleges racism towards any other player its a case of guilty in the eyes of the FA true or not?
No Uniform
John Terry you could see on TV what he pretty much said.
LiamAP22D
If I was Fernando i'd get my legal team together and sue the FA for deformation of character, slander or harrassment, in fact whatever I could! it's getting silly now.
OxonOwl
It is more the case that the EFL has a lower burden of proof required so that even though there was insufficient evidence for him to be guilty of a criminal charge there may be enough for the EFL. It is similar with civil actions which can be carried out following failure to convict under criminal law. Edited June 6, 2019 by OxonOwl

Therein lies the kneejerk problem mate..... In a court of law...There has to be proof... In this case the F.a are simply taking one footballers word against another..with no proof whatsoever Hows that happen? It opens a total can of worms

Not sure but the EFL is not taking a civil action, it is all part of their internal disciplinary procedures, which everyone who plays in the EFL signs up for by default. Certainly the chap who is accusing him could take a civil action against him.
vulva
Far more trouble than he’s worth FF, but if banned then surely the games missed can be preseason games as opposed to league games.
agentwalker
using the FAs logic I'm surprised the FA hasn't charged every club with racial discrimination with the amount of times people like Barnes and sol Campbell have pulled the race card about the lack of job opportunities. He is effectively been tried 3 times for the same thing. 3 match ban, court case and now this. Surely a decent lawyer would get this kicked out but with the idiots running football, I'm not so sure. Has the Mansfield player who karate kicked Tom Lees ever been charged? I'm sure he got away with it.
jonnyowl
Absolute bloody joke, the courts found him not guilty but the FA can charge him? And why has it taken all this time? Did their player get charged for punching Tom Lees?
Bluesteel
Given that he was already banned and this has been through court. The FA still persisting with this seems wholly unnecessary...12 months later. Why do they feel the need to get involved again? Players use foul and abusive language in most games.
