Also, note how big a defeat the SUFC game was last season. Don't think we ever recovered, they went one way we went the other. Amazing with hindsight what 45 seconds of football can do...

Let's hope it the reverse next Monday. Got a feeling they will come full of confidence on a winning run, we turn them over and they miss out on automatic and fail in play offs again. As Martin Luther King said 'I had a dream'

Hull at home

Stoke at home

West Brom at home

Rotherham at home

West Brom away

Birmingham at home

Reading at home

14 points there that even being as dire as we were, are all still games we could have easily won.

4 points in about 10 minutes combined against West Brom we dropped.

Hindsight is wonderful, but what a dire first half of the season with Jos.

Even if we could pull off some sort of miracle and make it in, we'd never beat any of the sides up there over two legs, absolutely no chance

Aye, the likes of West Brom played us off the park home and away.  We'd never win at Middlesbrough in a month of Sundays.  United would get their usual hat full against us at the Lane.

It's all supposition anyway, we won't be in the top six.

We need to win several games in a row and hope that several teams above us have some sort of meltdown...

Only taking 3 points from a possible 9 against Reading, Millwall and Rotherham pretty much killed off our very slim chances.

Best we can hope for now is beating United, get some form going and finish the season strongly.
