Then after that what is Fletcher thinking trying a shot from that distance? Either hold the ball up or find Joao. We are consistently poor in the final third of the pitch in terms of making the right decisions and having the confidence to try something different. We know we've struggled to score for 18 months We know we were conceding goals for fun for 5 months of this season. We know most of the squad aren't good enough. We know many are on their way in the Summer We know we were drifting towards a relegation struggle until two months ago We've stopped the rot and we should be just happy with mid-table boring 0-0s if it means staying in this league. Millwall haven’t scored because they couldn’t finish their dinner and there have been a couple of excellent last ditch and desperate blocks from us. If this is Bruce’s tactics working, then I’m even more concerned! I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect midfielders to be able to pass to their own team mates and to get out of our own half more than once in a while. Bannan on the left, FF behind the main striker (when played), no creativity at all in midfield. Certainly room for improvement!
