Got that rare quality of been able to put a cross in and take shot on goal with need of very little space to do it. Well worth taking 2.5m gamble on if we can afford it. Much more suited to that right footed left winger spot then Adam Reach. This is the thing for me, plenty have looked, but nobody has taken a punt His price isn’t prohibitive, so there must be serious doubts whether he can step up. He does have a release clause for 2.5m but it is plus the fee they paid Gateshead and all up front. So near 3m. Sunderland are interested but can’t pay that unless this takeover happens. He was a Sunderland fan as a boy so he was keen. But there is a window for someone to go in and get him. I think it’s a case of clubs waiting to see who blinks first. If someone matched the clause then a couple of others might. But as time goes on Peterborough will need to accept less or it’s a free for all next summer. Hull would seem a real waste.
