Hold on...

Carlos getting stick from 75% of fans for not playing FF left, then when he explains why he doesn't, Carlos is at fault!?

I think the issue is that Carlos is kowtowing to a player, having declared earlier in the summer that he was wanting to use him on the left wing.

It makes Nando look like a petulant brat and Carlos look weak.

Not good really.

Would like to hear the context this was said in. If Carlos isn't playing FF out wide just because he doesn't want to then yes he does need to take some blame. After all he's picking a team to win games not to keep FF happy.

Waddle didn't track back and he played on the wing.

It's only really an issue if you have fullbacks who get forward all the time.

No it's an issue of it influences the managers team selection and compromises his authority. His wee wee poor management in the media hasn't helped

Feels like a season is needed to iron out all the issues whether it be Carlos, players or on the business side.Maybe advanced ourselves too quick but a lot is clearly not right.

Look like a club that's totally undercooked for promotion, certainly via the top 2.

Forestieri and Carlos should both have gone in the summer.

This will turn out for the best. It's a shame we wasted 3 points to bring this into the open, but sell him, play two strikers from Winnall, Hooper, Fletch and Rhodes  all season, and Fessi can watch his ex-colleagues next August playing in the Prem.

Carlos ruins the team putting FF striker. With the temptation gone we will be a better team, and I suspect a far better dressing-room.

Assuming it's true (doubtful), then why hasn't he gotten rid and sold at a tidy sum already?

Gaffer's speaking some right pants...

Oh I thought you meant the whole story was false, not just the Forestieri bit. I've said it many times that Carlos is too much of an open book with the press. There's a fine line between trying to keep both fans and players happy. This weekend he's done neither by all accounts.

I was just on about wingers not tracking back.

It seems to me that FF is frustrated at CC's tactics and constantly asking him to defend/track back when he's played on the left. FF is the most creative player in the team, why isn't he being allowed to express himself and cause problems to othe teams like he was when he first signed?

Also so look at the McGeedy interview from a few days ago where he says he wanted to quit playing during his time here and that the difference between being with us and Preston was that Grayson let him and the other attacking players express themselves.

Only one person to blame in this and that's CC for both the negative tactics and hanging FF out to dry on the back of a bad result.

It's not looking good, is it?

The only remaining straw I can cling to is that maybe Carlos has made this public in order to try and reassert some power over Forestieri - if he selects him on the left next weekend, then Forestieri has a choice to make: either perform as the Hillsborough faithful know he can, otherwise the end is surely nigh...
