New club crest

It could have been terrible.

He could have re-named us Chansiri Wednesday.

He could have taken us over and disappeared, never to be seen as we languish at the foot of the table.

He could have sold the ground, or the players.

He could have been in constant legal disputes, distracted from the job at hand.

He could have done so, so much which would give call for us to protest and be seriously worried.

Instead he has shown his commitment and galvanised his support for us long term.

Thank you DC.

+ The all White Cup Final shirt from May 14th 1966 v Everton.

Far too many supposed Wednesday fans who cant be bothered to pick a few books up and get to know our history. Thankfully DC is not one of them !

I don't think anyone that doesn't want it are saying it because it's not historic to our club they are saying it because they think it's an awful design.

How about we scrap the blue and white stripes and go back to hoops or quarters. Maybe we should return to Bramall Lane too.

Just because it's historic doesn't mean it's good or suits us now.

Like the blunts and their 1970s boardroom table

Do we want to be in the Premier League playing the Premier League game?  Then yes, this is part and parcel of what goes along with being a bigtime club.

As opposed to having a good coach, good players and a good set up?

Hopefully we're building a club for 5, 10 even 25 years in the future.

A 'new' club, based on the ethos of the past but totally new almost from the ground up.

Kids will embrace they new badge, because it'll be all they know.

I'm very excited - this is more than just a bloke chucking money at getting promotion and his face in the paper. This is a project...
