Wednesday -V- Sunderland - (LC , Rnd1) - OMDT

Nice distraction from the 'seriousness' of the league?

Chance to build some winning momentum?

Chance for a squad man to shine and play his way into the first team?

Or just a pointless exercise that no ones bothered about?

Jesus. Can’t they just kill this competition off? No one cares.

I don’t even know if there’s any way of watching it other than going (which I’m not).

Treat it as a training match and we are in the unfortunate position of being ahead when the 90 mins approach slot in a couple of own goals so we are out of it. FFS.

Incidentally how does one pronounce Carabao…I could manage Rumbelows and Milk Cup…this world just gets more confusing for the growing tribe of bewildered to which I belong😳

It’s pronounced, ‘throat wobbler mangrove.’ (Niche reference.)

Wish we'd give Bailey Cadamateri a run out tonight  ,or at least a Subs appearance.

Charlton were quite prepared to give 18yo Miles Leaburn his debut last night.

But we'll probably just play Silly Sow who wants out ASAP.

Yes I’m expecting to see Paterson and Sow upfront with no strikers on the bench.  Which would be a shame as it’s valuable experience for Cadamarteri in his development

Looks like he is if his Instagram story is anything to go by.

Cadamarteri comes on and starts his first team career with a bang, just like Ritchie Humphrey did, and gets a couple of goals, bursts his way into the first team squad, sets us alight with optimism, we go on to win the league in style.

Proper fantasy football. Let's have it.
