It’s just about building

our expansive players all remain for next year

this about improving the squad with what we failed at last year

we need to be taller stronger in places and defending set pieces we need to drop our average age considerably as this is now an ageing squad where several senior players are coming to the end of their peaks

We need more cover in some places

adding height across the board

in midfield ( for Luongo ) a defensive player who can break down attacks and release the ball the bannan and Byres ( not a clue who that is )

height and pace option up from ( I’d still call ladapo kind of player  )

3 centre backs add those height in

a senior keeper who brings more calmness to playing out from the back maybe

this should reduce the amount of set plays we concede and give us more threat on set pieces in the opposite box

something I think will make the difference to being promoted or not we only need to improve by 5 points in my opinion to get those automatics probably title and we can easily add those points through set pieces

add to the fact we hopefully get a season or more game time out if windass and we are looking really strong

don’t change the style of play just strengthen around it

Stick as we are but recruitment needs to be right, genuine pacy forward as NML is not the man at CF.

Windass, Gregory, Berhaino plus one quick one should be enough.

I think Dennis and Dele should be enough cover in the middle to replace Massimo, but one more would be nice to cover for injuries.

Finally we need 2 centrehalfs who can stay fit enough to play 30 plus games in a season, even if Hutchinson signs a new deal his and Iorfa's injury records are a worry.

Not really relevant to what I said but cool.

More a point about if you change what you want or how you want to get there all the time you'll never progress

True.

Changing manger ever 7 months, on ave, hasn't helped at all over the las 22 years.

Expansive, but with the abilty to not crumble as soon as an opposition pressing game is put to us. Looked clueless and weak against most teams who got in our faces this season.

We got 85pts and lost just 9 of 46 games how the feck could we have record like that and be clueless , weak and prone to crumbling ....

Because we're in League One and not every team had the ability to get in our faces and press effectively.

We need to be able to do both and switch when needed. The expansive approach has worked 80% of the time this season. The lack of a plan B has cost us.

Expansive sh$thousers

Play like we did the 2nd half of the season.

Playing it out from the back when the opportunity arises, whilst at the same time been able to mix it up when needed.

We desperately need to sign some solid defenders that are comfortable on the ball too. In the mould of Gibson who was perfect for the left hand side apart from the injuries. There’ll be lots of defenders like that in premier league academies.

If that's the case that so few teams can do it then it's not really a problem is it .only time we've crumbled is at sunderland ,plymouth and lincoln which out of 46 games ain't too bad  .

At Hillsborough we’ve been pretty expansive and entertaining and led to some fantastic games and goals being scored. We finished the season as the best home side in the division.

Away from home I would suggest we need to be more pragmatic. Learn to grind out clean sheets more. We get involved in too many high scoring games. Rotherham only conceded 11 times away and Wigan 22 while we conceded 32. We certainly need to adapt away.

Enough teams did it to stop us getting promoted.

That's all that matters.
