Disappointing but quite predictable really.  Too many get carried away very easily and assume we have the best players in the league without:

a) having really seen some of our new players perform.

b) any real knowledge of other players in this division.

 

I’ll be happy with top half and delighted by play-offs.  Still can’t see where we will score enough goals and have a niggling concern about the number of new players we are trying to assimilate.

Not sure yet whether we've seen a game where both Bannan and Wing have played together and both done well.

Both full backs been poor, for me this is Hunts 3rd poor game in a row. 

Johnson shouldn't be part of a front 3 for my money. 

Hope we can turn this around.

As Megson used to say. theres only 3 ways to beat a team. Go through them, go round them or go over them. Currently we have one way, try to pass through them. When we can’t do this we have no plan B. To make it worse, when we lose the ball trying to go through them we don’t pick athletic ball winners to win it back quickly. 
Bannan, Wing and Byers will never work as a midfield 3.
