GMOwl72
Hope so but we’ve heard it before too many times.
StudentOwl
Genuinely great news. I hope he can fight back to some form of fitness... seems a crying shame that he's gone from a near omnipresent Championship player for QPR to a the latest patient to visit Dr Crock. A fit Luongo would be very good in this division.
DeBilde'sTea
Until he traps his appendix in the training ground door and is written off again. 1
fpowl
Might have ran with that a little early I’m heard it as He could be back from the medical team in two weeks depending on how they asses him and how he feels he then needs to get back in training Could be light training to start with before full training and recovery I wouldn’t expect him playing this month but I hope I’m wrong and he’s back soon
SiJ
Good news. IF fit, he's too good for this level and adds a physicality to the midfield.

theowlsman
Excellent news that he’s back shortly after some punters wrote him off as a waste of space. Great player. They’re all good players, we’ve got a reyt League 1 squad. Promotion is calling. Edited August 31, 2021 by theowlsman
stocksyuto
Is it one of these like shodipo who apparently was ok and was going to be rested a week but it’s been more like 5 weeks now and no news on him
CircleSeven
I was surprised Luongo made it back at all, and if he can get fit again then brill. I suspect from what I’ve read that he was trying to get fit for a move but now that’s definitely not going to happen hopefully he can get fit and contribute to our promotion? I’d be all for keeping him for 30/45 min spells in games when he’s back. We have great strength in depth and using him to see games out and protect some of the younger players would a reasonable result from where we’ve been at with him. Moore said pre Morecambe he wanted to give him 5/6 days training. With massimo mind think it could be a bit , hopefully back end of September, which would mean he only missed 3/4 games
