Don't know who's resurfaced the pitch but if they don't get paid and dig the pitch back up we'll be playing in Hillsborough Park and I'm not fetching the ball out of the pond every five minutes.

You'll be fetching it out of the Don if Adthe comes back.

Can’t imagine a VAT bill. We’ve had no vatable sales for over 12 months

PAYE might be due

No PAYE due if no wages being paid.

a bigger tax related problem for club will be minimum wage legislation right now.

I thought exactly the same on PAYE but one of the many chartered accountants and wages experts was adamant that it’s due

Might be wrong here but I thought that if a company didn't pay wages for a current pay period they would submit an EPS (employer payment submission) with or instead of the FPS (full payment submission), and then no PAYE would be due for that pay period on wages not paid ?

An EPS should be submitted in the following circumstances:

If no payments to employees are made within the current or past pay period meaning no FPS has been submitted

To declare a future period of inactivity

To recover statutory payments

To recover Construction Industry Scheme deductions suffered

To indicate that you have made your final submission for the year

To claim Employment Allowance

If required, an EPS must be submitted to HMRC by the 19th of the following tax month to apply any reduction on what you’ll owe from your FPS.

If you don't pay the wages, then you don't owe any tax

When you’re about to sell something you spend the absolute minimum on it to keep it going.

This rings true, but the lack of any sale talk and the only story being Chansiri actually having no plans to sell, makes it seem like we are just chaos, rather than organised chaos.  Really hope he does want to sell tho as with him in charge we are going in One (depressing) Direction.

can you 'enlighten' us on what lee said and WHEN?

he may have changed his mind if it wasn't recent.

On here , about two weeks ago.

Suggested a consortium bought Owls and they can write off losses against Thai tax.

If club elected to tax stadium sale, Sheffield ,3 ltd has to charge us £3 million rent plus £600,000 Vat every year.

We pay them.

Not sure if the £6 million annual Championship payment to clubs  is Vatable.

The fact we missed him is a very sad indictment of how far we've fallen.

Well if it's right what I'm hearing we really are in deep do do.

I think Deji's only option now are handing out zero hour contracts. 🤔

Things are that desperate apparently.
