Stop spreading crap and stirring the pot. There’s no mention of admin anywhere. People are on edge enough without the likes of you adding to it.

Chansiri has made a royal mess of things but there’s no indication of admin. The EFL cheque will likely be the competition payments clubs receive.

No mention of Admin at Wigan. They went.

Need to spread warnings your money not safe with these chancers.

And that small claims precedent will now open refund floodgates.

Your right, but our EFL cheque reduced from £6 million Championship payment to two bob for Div 3. Skint.

Yes but what if that Cheque from EFL is supposed to be for the whole of this coming season or at best its half the money and we won't get the 2nd payment until around January.

Couple of points

The case never got to court so no actual legal precedent or statute has been set

Secondly if the club was so near to being on the brink then why haven’t the EFL or the PFA come out with some form of official statement to protect its members

All we have seen so far is mediation has taken place and that rumours of players handing in their notice. As of today not one player has walked out on their contract and signed for any other team

That's why club caved in. Floodgates now open for refunds.

Did you see an EFL or PFA statement pre Wigan Admin?

Of course not. They were any good , wud keep crazy owners away from footy.

You won't know this yet though

We will have a better idea by Wednesday when we see who reports back for pre-season training.

I’m sure you have seen the case history of this and can quote exactly what the reasons are for the club “caving in”

Wigan scenario is completely different to ours as well you know

Breach of contract by club. That simple.

Get yer small claims court in now, on line.

Ok, Wigan a bet and ours maybe a Thai tax play but both defy logic , and only fans really  suffer.

Does it stipulate anywhere in the contract that if the club cannot provide the service that a money back guarantee will be provided or is it more to the point the club offered money back and hasn’t been able to deliver on that promise

Two hugely different things as a point of law.

The Thia tax thing is a load of pony peddled big one person on here and not backed up by anyone or any clear evidence. For example the last accounts posted a profit so how would that have worked to offset any Thai tax laws??

Why cave in then and open floodgates?

When you buy a pair shoes in shop, where does it stipulate similar? An implied contract.

Two separately raised Thai tax play and one sold his firm for millions to BT and used to be Owls executive boss so maybe his insight is valid.

And see 1981 UK , Thai tax treaty.
