Transfer Deadline Day

As soon as Pulis was sacked the tone (pardon the pun) was set for this window.

How you can go from a manager who was constantly banging on about how important this window was to doing the business we’ve done is ridiculous.

That said Hutchinson’s return will prove to be our best bit of business.

Mental isn’t it. Pulis was mentioning how important this window was after every game.

We end up with Hutchinson back and Green who hasn’t played for 7 months.

So if indeed we don’t make any signings today does it conform we are either under an embargo or Chansiri has ran out of money?

I am not sure he had any money to start with. The lack of signings, wages late, mortgages on the ground suggest his line of credit where ever that is has either maxed out of run out.

And there lies the problem for any future investor/owner.

He'll want a massive chunk of the reported £350M spent, if not it all.

Not going to happen.

Not necessarily, if it’s costing him xx millions a year out of his own pocket to just keep us afloat he may just think sod it & cut his losses

I've never believed that the dosh was all his.

It was my understanding - rightly or wrongly - that at least some came from his family.

He's probably used his quota already.

The real problem is his incompetence/stubbornness.

Basically, what's happened IMO is that nobody else  is now prepared to put money in the pot, simply because they don't want to lose it.

We're not the only ones who can see that this system isn't working.

I mean, if a chairman has spent several hundred million pounds and finishes up half a division lower than when he started, with a real chance of relegation, then it's no surprise.
