How you can go from a manager who was constantly banging on about how important this window was to doing the business we’ve done is ridiculous. It was my understanding - rightly or wrongly - that at least some came from his family. He's probably used his quota already. The real problem is his incompetence/stubbornness. Basically, what's happened IMO is that nobody else is now prepared to put money in the pot, simply because they don't want to lose it. We're not the only ones who can see that this system isn't working. I mean, if a chairman has spent several hundred million pounds and finishes up half a division lower than when he started, with a real chance of relegation, then it's no surprise. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
