You’re years behind us in terms of recruitment, no point kidding yourselves that you can compete with us for players, what you should be doing, is mopping up the players we’re replacing, we’re signing players to upgrade on what we’ve got, Chaplin and Thomas would have been good signings, as would the likes of Palmer, Halme, & Odour who aren’t going to be regulars for us. They’re all good young lads with the potential to improve but not quite good enough for us, that’s where you need to be looking.

Obviously we couldn't compete for him as we can't pay transfer fees. I love how you are looking to sign players who can help you right now but have every chance to increase their value and earn you nice profit in the future.

Than again you can't compete in a wages war and you will lose your players for less then they are worth and will have repeat that proces all over again. You are working smart, but you will never get promoted to The Premiership and couple of poor investments will quickly push you towards relegation strugle.

No we’re not. Yep he’s pushed up to the very brink. But we’re one good season and they’re one bad season away from the roles reversing.

To say ‘years’ is a bit of a stretch. Right now, they’re better at recruitment than us. But football can change quickly.

Think I'd disagree with you there in terms of recruitment (for this window anyway). How much money have they flushed down the drain on Brewster, McBurnie, Burke, Mousset and co?

Kamberi a strange one,  unexpected signing though and there all out of woodwork Arnt they claiming it’s not a DM signing

It’s clearly a DM signing. It’s a target man. A position we need. But let’s be honest options are limited unless we spend money.

It fits the profile of what we need as a club.

Sims , Byers and Johnson , or at least 2 of the 3 would be ideal. , then potentially another striker and a cb when borner goes . May not get all of that though to be honest

Agreed, if we can get Byers and Sims, and then a young striker like Odubeko on loan from West Ham then I think the squad is looking very good for this level.

Not bad for a club working under restrictions anyway
